Perugia, 8th-17th July

The Umbria Jazz Festival is one of the most important jazz festivals in the world and has been held annually since 1973, usually in July, in Perugia, and surrounding cities of the region of Umbria Italy.

The main Festival venues are the Santa Giuliana Arena, where the biggest names perform, and the Morlacchi Theatre, dedicated to more orthodox jazz. At the Bottega del Vino and the Ristorante La Taverna there are musical aperitivi, lunches and dinners.

Trasimeno Blues Festival

Trasimeno Lake, 19th-22th July

Trasimeno Blues is a traveling festival that hosts Black Music concerts every year at the end of July in the charming villages overlooking Lake Trasimeno.

From 19 to 24 July Lake Trasimeno will once again be flooded with the notes of some of the best contemporary expressions of the Blues and its various declinations, with particular regard to the search for the deepest roots of the Blues and the increasingly frequent connections between the Blues of Mississippi and that of its primeval African origins.

Festival Internazionale Green Music 2022

Umbria, 30th June-11th September

Until 11 September the itinerant musical event returns to the breathtaking landscapes of Umbria.

Young talents and established professionals, soloists and instrumental groups of international level, will perform in concerts of classical music, jazz and new contemporary classical music, in the most evocative, characteristic and unusual places in the area.

This year it will develop in 40 locations including castles, centuries-old woods, natural parks, lakes, period residences and thermal springs, hosting about 130 Italian and international artists, including Tony Esposito, Uto Ughi, Nada, Marco Masini and Mogol for enrich the Umbrian cultural offer.

TUSCANY

 

LARS ROCK FEST, Chiusi, 8th-10th July

The performances will start from 21 until late at night.

Opening the festival on Friday 8 July will be the Turin post-rock group Low Standards, High Fives, followed by the English folk-blues singer-songwriter Duke Garwood who will then give way to the American post-rock band Algiers. To close the folk of the guitarist Hola La Poyana.

The opening on Saturday 9 July will be the work of the psych-rock of A / lpaca, followed by the British Porridge Radio and the shoegaze of the American co-headliners Nothing. Aftershow with voice and guitar by Heron King.

The final evening of Sunday 10 July includes the concert of the indie rock group Big Cream, the psychedelic live of The Winstons and that of the last headliner to go on stage for a unique Italian date: the historic German band standard bearer of the Kraut-Rock movement, faust, followed by the final Outsiders DJ set.

The festival is held in the Public Gardens of Chiusi Scalo and is free to enter.

L’Incantaborgo – Festival di Arti di Strada, Sinalunga, 14th-17th July

From 14 to 17 July, in Piazza Garibaldi and in the streets of the historic center of Sinalunga, L’Incantaborgo, the street arts festival that has been animating the Sinalunghese summer for years, will take place!

In addition to entertaining the public, the festival aims to introduce the medieval village, squares, streets and historic buildings of Sinalunga according to the best tradition of “street theater”, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

With the current edition of the festival, the public is offered free admission to international performances, such as the circus shows Circo in piazza by the Compagnia Diavoli Rossi, theatrical and magic shows such as Le vie est bulle by the Bubble Circus company, L ‘ Opera Magica by Alberto Giorgi and shows with fire, water and LED lights such as Di luce e di fuoco by the Lux Arcana company or the Atmosphere show.
